At the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2026, early data were presented on bulumtatug fuvedotin, a nectin-4-targeting antibody-drug conjugate, in advanced or metastatic cervical cancer.
Early studies reported signals of antitumour activity with a safety profile described as manageable. Nectin-4 is being investigated as a potential therapeutic target across several cancers.
Still early evidence
These are early-phase findings rather than a new treatment standard. Larger studies and longer follow-up are needed to establish clinical benefit and identify which patients may benefit most.
