Menopause and perimenopause care in Badalona

A stage of change that can be lived with well-being.

Menopause is not a disease, but its symptoms can greatly affect quality of life. At Badagine we assess each case individually to help you go through this stage with peace of mind.

What is the climacteric (perimenopause)?

It is the transition stage towards menopause, which is confirmed after twelve months without a period. It can come with hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood changes, vaginal dryness or changes in the cycle.

Assessment and treatment

Every woman experiences this stage differently. At the consultation your symptoms, history and risks are assessed to decide the approach: lifestyle measures, non-hormonal treatments or hormone therapy when indicated.

Bone and cardiovascular health

After menopause the risk of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease increases. Regular check-ups help detect and prevent them.

Bleeding after menopause

Any bleeding after menopause should be discussed with your gynecologist to rule out its cause.

Would you like to book an appointment?

Our team will help you and answer your questions. Open Monday to Friday, by appointment.
