Weight Management with Tirzepatide
An innovative weekly injection treatment particularly relevant for women with PCOS, insulin resistance or menopause. Supervised by our specialised medical team.
Why manage weight at a gynaecological clinic?
Body weight and female health are deeply interconnected. Our specialists understand how excess weight affects women in specific ways at every stage of life.
Insulin resistance is at the core of PCOS. Tirzepatide acts directly on this mechanism, improving menstrual regularity, ovulation and hormonal levels.
The drop in oestrogen slows metabolism and promotes abdominal fat accumulation. This treatment helps manage this process with integrated hormonal monitoring.
In women with obesity or PCOS wishing to conceive, weight reduction improves spontaneous ovulation rates, IVF response and pregnancy outcomes.
Systemic inflammation associated with excess weight worsens endometriosis symptoms. Weight reduction has a documented anti-inflammatory effect.
Postmenopausal women have a specific cardiovascular risk profile. Tirzepatide has been shown to reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose.
Unlike other routes, at Badagine the treatment is supervised by specialists who know your full gynaecological history and adapt the protocol to your individual situation.
How does Tirzepatide work?
Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a weekly injectable drug that acts on two key hormonal receptors related to appetite and metabolism.
Dual mechanism of action
Tirzepatide acts simultaneously on the GLP-1 y GIP, two intestinal hormones that regulate:
- ✓The feeling of fullness and appetite
- ✓Insulin secretion in response to glucose
- ✓Gastric emptying rate
- ✓Visceral fat storage
- ✓Insulin resistance (key in PCOS)
